Blue Blood is always interest in looking into working together and/or supporting other creative professionals in different fields and industries. Last week we met with Roger from Epitaph on creativity. Epitaph is the label with the sub label ANTI which has our friends Pete Philly & Perquisite under its wings. It was an interesting meeting!
As a nice gesture Roger left us with a package of new albums from the label. We can’t wait to upload it all into our iTunes!
The albums are all good suggestions:
NASA – The Spirit of Apollo
Pete Philly & Perquisite – Mystery repeats
One Day As a Lion
Booker T – Potato Hole
Lyrics Born – Everywhere at Once
Michael Franti & Spearhead – All rebel rockers
Our friend Cornelie Tollens has collaborated with Parra to create this awesome photoserie for Glamcult called “You might as well face it you’re addicted to love”.
The photography, done by Cornelie, was overlayered with the infamous Parra characters. The end result looks really cool.
Cornelie is expert in photoseries with a very teasing edge to them. It is basically her trademark. Her models, mostly posing semi-nude, have a dirty-flirt look going on. Cornelie plays with sexuality in a female-friendly way.
Definitely something to check out!
Yesterday we popped by our friends Sid Lee Collective.
We got to check out the space of these creative professionals. Their bistro has blackboard walls which have been chalked on by, amongst others, the Buutvrij Chalk gurus. It was amazing to see that it is possible to create depth on a blackboard wall using chalk.
Check it out!
