Yummy, yummy, yummy…a tip from Willa’s boyfriend (could this be an indirect hint?). We at Blue Blood value the art of presenting things. As you have noticed in one of our previous blog posts, packaging and presentation at Blue Blood is key. Furthermore, when it comes to food you also know that we greatly support the consumption of organic food. So as true food lovers and luxury presentation we ultimately loved Luxirare.
The food looks delicious and oh so stylish!
And this is what comes in her homemade lunch
Think Erin Wasson, Kate Moss, biker boots, Glastonbury festival, leather jackets and you get the new Blue Blood women’s jean named after Erin Wasson called, The Erin.
The Erin is predicted to be the must-have-female-it item of the new Blue Blood SS10 collection. This perfectly fitted jeans suits everybody but is mainly aimed at the beautiful self conscience, independent and edgy woman. The Erin was inspired by the success, look, feel and mainly its fit of one of our first famous jeans for women called Jeannie. The Jeannie and its new variation, The Erin are both skinny jeans with a lower rise. The Erin, made in Italy comes in various washings, all that are stunning and bare a look and feel of a jean that has been used yet it is completely new.
The two variations of The Erin are called Missed The Train and The Zoe. The Erin – Missed The Train washing is inspired by a great Wes Anderson movie – The Darjeeling Limited. The story goes that the actors have been travelling immensely and are in a rush to catch the train but unfortunately they just missed it, where upon they stumble and fall.
This jean therefore also comes with a patch on one of the knees as if the wearer actually fell and had to re-patch her jeans. So when wearing The Erin – Missed The Train it will provide that feeling of edgy roughness, eccentric traveling but being able to stay effortlessly beautiful.
As for the The Erin with The Zoe washing you will definitely get that feeling of being a “London it girl”. Its based on as mentioned earlier the beautiful model Erin Wasson and the edgy Kate Moss as these jeans look used, they are ripped and stitch repaired giving you that nonchalant-sexy-London-girl look.
And our inspiration model…Erin Wasson
We can’t wait for The Erin to be in store from January 2010 onwards!
Heat up in style this winter with the Piet Indoor Stove. This useful piece of furniture so to say has been created by a Danish architect and mathematician, Piet Hein hence the name: Piet Indoor Stove. This stove, not only heats you up during the cold winter days but it also looks like a stylish piece of art within your home. Furthermore, it can be placed near all other furniture and walls within your home due to the great rock wool insulation the Piet has.
We’re looking forward to winter!

Blue Blood has decided to follow her blog and have therefore also added it to our blog roll. Jane Aldridge can be seen wearing the most stunning shoes in different settings. The images placed on her blog are pretty and her sense of style is inspiring to every one. She jet sets from Tokyo to Paris to try on different fashion items and she has even designed a shoe range for Urban Outfitters. For the latest shoe or fashion designs her blog is one to follow.
Each fashion student needs to complete his or her degree by handing in a final thesis project. So did Cedric Flazinski for his Master thesis project for the Design Academy Eindhoven. His product deals with a new design production system. The current design situation evolves around spitting out similar products in great quantities. Yes, personilsation is growing and the market is acting upon this trend of individualisation. But these so called “personalised” products are often not even that unique. It allows consumers to have a say in the final look, colour and or pattern of the product to create a certain identity.
Cedric Flazinski’s project called MyDesigner takes this form of customization to a whole other level. MyDesigner leaves the designer out of the picture which means that the users take the lead. MyDesigner should be seen as a system and not viewed as a product. It can be understood by 3 phases:
01. A visual questionnaire meant to generate a “You-Brand”, were the user can define his / her particularity as an individual (beliefs, wants, moral positions etc…),
02. An interface that will convert the user’s particularities into shape variables which will generate a virtual version of the desired product, and
03. The final product expressing the individuality of the user through a specific use of shape semantics, just like a personal flag.
One on one communications will hence create a a global network. With MyDesigner we will know what is in need where and when. All of us are usefull to somebody else and now digitally we wil be able to convey services and demands in a much faster way. Networks of production will be fastened, which is the main goal of MyDesigner.

We at Blue Blood are not just any ordinary fashion company, no we are the Blue Blood family. So when it is someone’s birthday, we always celebrate.
We encourage people to treat us to treats that’s made with at least as much love as our Blue Blood products are made with.
Today one of our favourite members of the family celebrated her 27th birthday.
Willa, the one in charge of all Blue Blood’s marketing and PR is celebrating her birthday today with us. Even though she is celebrating her 27th birthday today, she was still as nervous as a child weeks prior to the actual day. Today the day finally has arrived. Her office was decorated with birthday banners and balloons. When Willa came into the office this morning, she brought along with her 40 delicious cupcakes. We had a choice of cheesecake cupcakes, triple chocolate malteser cupcakes, carrot cupcakes and even gluten free cupcakes. We at the Blue Blood office had a wonderful cupcake fest this morning.
Because Willa treated us we treated her back! We got her a beautiful perfume Blanche, the latest addition to the Byredo range.
Willa, thank you for the delicious cupcakes and Blue Blood wishes you a very happy birthday!

“I wore this last Saturday? I think? Or five years ago? Or something”.
” Shoes found in our basement (which is gross until I remember they are velvet and I love them.)”
“This one is from Saturday night at the Alexander Wang & Katie Grand party. Alex is like this little imp that I want to put in a box and build a little house”
These are all quotes from the 13 years young Tavi Gevinson. Tavi speaks and writes as if she has lived a whole life already but the truth is this young blogger is just a teenager. We love her as she is so nerdy in a cool way that she gets invited to the most influential fashion shows during the New York Fashion week. Some of the shows she attended last week were the Alexander Wang show and she was even seated in front row at the Marc Jacobs show. This little blogger has 1.5 million people visiting her blog per month. She happily trades in math, science and history classes to attend The New York Fashion Week or to fly over to London to pose for the cover of Pop magazine.
